Youth ConferenceI am delighted to invite you to participate in the Youth Conference Bridges Over the Sea, which will be held September 22-25, 2009 in Kristiansand, Norway. We are living in the Baltic Sea Region, so it is defi nitely benefi tial to all of us if we are able to create bridges over the sea - bridges are not always physical, sometimes we need bridges from older to younger generations, bridges from politicians to citizens, bridges from one culture to another. UBC Youth Conferences certainly help us to construct these bridges needed. Young people – you are the resource for the future! Sooner or later you will take over our cities and make important choices, so it is wise for you to be connected to the decision making and participate already here and now. Good outcome of the previous conferences let us expect that this year will be fruitful as well – this year there will be many new ideas and proposals made on safety, attractiveness or the prosperity of the region. Youth representatives of the city together with civil servants responsible for youth work or youth workers are all warmly welcomed to take part in the conference Bridges Over the Sea!
